With drugs such as anabolic steroids, performance enhancing drugs, and stimulant drugs becoming more accessible and affordable than ever, more and more people especially members of the youth community are making use of drugs than ever. Let us read more about this concerning issue to develop a clear and complete understanding.

The young generation of today is facing a big battle and it is really concerning that the battle is between the young ones and themselves as their habits of using drugs for short-term fun and gains is putting the society in a state of danger. It is worth nothing here that every incident of drug abuse deteriorates the standards, norms, values, life, and culture of society and its occupants.

There is nothing wrong in using drugs but only when they are used for treating medical complications and used under medical guidance. But things can go out of control when drug abuse happens. This is the time when severe health complications such as liver damage, menstrual irregularities, impotency, sexual dysfunction, and hair loss to name a few. In order to avoid this, complete awareness about the pros and cons of drug use must be laid out before one and all, irrespective of the age factor.

We all need to make every possible effort to ensure that the youth of today and every one else also should be responsible for creating and spreading awareness about drugs so that no one among us is a victim of absence of knowledge and try drugs for short-term gains. This is simply because every one in a society is a hope for its growth and development and there cannot be anything more damaging than an attack on the hope itself.
